I got a 241 with a mechanical speedo {1988} model. I need a vss for a LS swap. 6.0 4l80e.

What are my options? sell this one and find a 90/91 with vss. Anyone know of a conversion? thanks

Dakota Digital VSS generator with pass through. Part # SEN-01-4160

Plugs in between your existing speedo cable and speedo output on the tcase. Will allow you to run your existing gauge and generate a VSS output signal for the PCM. You will need to let the tuner know of what pulse the adapter is generating since its different than what the PCM is looking for.

My Dakota Digital is the cats ass! Just plugged it into my Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 and I have every engine parameter at my fingertips. Good stuff.
