I put a. 3 row aluminum radiator and want to put a new radiator support on but the one I want to use looks like my core support changed a and I might not be able to use it. Plz help I don’t want to buy one if it is going to be way off. I am able to work metal. Thanks for input

I put that chrome panel on my '79. Even if you keep it clean, it develops rust fairly quickly. They are different than the '81 and up style, but without having the two here in front of me, I don't remember exactly what those differences were.

I was not going to use the one from LMC. I would get a trans depot one. I’m trying to find out if I could make it work. Thanks for the info on the chrome one.

Far as I know, those chrome panels all come from the same supplier. Mine wasn't from LMC either, but I don't remember the actual name it was packaged under.

It's basically just like any other chrome dress up parts you get from anywhere. Whether it be valve covers, timing covers, diff covers, master cylinder covers, wheels, etc. The plating is cheap and thin.

Another option is just using the correct GM panel and getting it chromed at a quality shop.
