    hello I have an early 80s k20 with a late model steering column with the tilt steering and wipers on the column. getting ready to get it inspected and I cant figure out the hazard lights. my fuse panel doesn't appear to have a 4 way relay. it only has turn signal relay on the bottom right...

    yeah sad thing is I paid too much. pics were a lot nicer than it was and I drove 4.5 hours with a trailer and cash and that's the only reason I hauled it home....:whymewhyme:

    This may also be a clue, this truck has dual front shocks. I mean I only have one set but it's got 2 sets of brackets. I don't know if that was any certain year option or not?

    I forgot to mention it has the hydraulic clutch. which I know started in 85 I believe?

    If I remember right I have a smooth hump...Lol its been cut out since it used to be an automatic. They put a piece of diamond plate over it. . So in this case an 80s truck could bolt up to a 70's frame with no trouble then? And this being said maybe I do have a 76 according to the title....

    I think you are right. That is why I asked about the rear crossmember and the trans hump. The trans hump could be changed but it takes a little more work to change a rear crossmember. Dana 44's are starting to get a little harder to come by down here in the US. Cash for clunkers program plus...
