Tailgate trim Help I know its a few years down the road but i just cannot get the anodizing off of the trim! I believe it is a manifold vacuum ill have to check tomorrow but it i dont get back to you soon just remove your dash bezel and follow the hoses from the AC control and find the one that goes to the firewall. By the look of that radio you might be able to just cut the dash and fold the metal back instead of completely removing it. You will also have to cut the dash bezel but when it comes to the wiring it should be the same I think. Instead of butchering the factory harness, Just go down to your...- willhucks29

There are two hoses in the inside of the cab on the passenger side from the AC box. One of them goes through the fire wall to the cowl panel (another vacuum in it also) and the other goes through the kick panel on the vacuum. I may have actually found the dye through a vendor for chevrolet trucks called USA 1 Industries. They claim to have all factory colors in stock and they have the original charcoal Im looking for.
