    While working on the dash this weekend I had some ideas for what to use the ash tray space for. Maybe tuck aux fuse panels in there or weld it up and smooth it out (delete it). Anyone use it for something else? Lots of space there.

    Ive considered the double-d myself. Wonder if you could move the heater control down and then put the double-d in the above two spots combined? The issue might be depth.

    I was gonna do a turbo (I really wanted twin turbo) on my '74 until I found out the EFI I bought can only do single bar. I have a friend that threw a turbo on a stock Gen V 454 and unleashed the daemon (with no internal upgrades). GM probably should have shipped them from the factory that way...

    Ive been thinking about how to do mine for a while. Given the shape and mass if the factory dash, I plan to machine mine out of plastic (HDPE - like cutting board material). Other options I've considered is to make a fiberglass mold using the stock dash and then modifying it to suit my needs...
