Triple X Rootbeer Chevy Truck Show Photos

Hey all, I just saw a Facebook post for a C10 June gathering here in Washington. Enumclaw to be exact. I am not sure if the event host is in this forum, but I figured it’s worth sharing. Here’s the link ;) https://www.facebook.com/share/zSJdhvoUCYYpTpFh/?mibextid=9l3rBW

What have you done to your square lately??

Mine were so rusted, so I made sure to brush the wire connection. As son as I plugged it and the switch made ground with the door frame, the lights turned on.

What have you done to your square lately??

That’s correct, it was very easy to do. I think I spent more time searching for the part than installing it.

What have you done to your square lately??

Oh thanks for sharing. That gives me a good idea when I go get an estimate for mine. It looks great. I assume you didn’t have to replace the foam. Or did you?

How... do you build a stepside?

I was reading through this thread, great info by the way. I think I may be missing one cross brace. Is that the standard layout even for the short-beds?

Triple X Rootbeer Chevy Truck Show Photos

Yeah, I was contemplating to send a message to the admins, but I didn’t want to be too annoying. So, I may give it a few more weeks and send a message. I just want to check out the feed, pictures and all that good stuff.

What have you done to your square lately??

So, what I have done… As of this month/year: * I replaced the tires, went from: Front: P235 / 60R15 Rear: P295 / 50R15 To: P235 / 75R15 front and rear, it fixed the terrible wobble, that kept me from getting the truck on the road. * Replaced the door strikers, (this was annoying me a lot)...

Anyone knows if the C10 Club Washington admins are in this forum? I sent a request to join a few weeks ago, but I don’t think they are as active. I would love to find out more and possibly join this year’s gathering. ;)

Chevy Replacement Grill with 350 emblem option

Wow, you guys amazed me… you really know your stuff. Yeah, my neighbor told me that the previous owner replaced the grill, so that’s it’s not the original.

Chevy Replacement Grill with 350 emblem option

Nice! That’s what I have in mind. I am still debating if I’m going to put the 350 emblem that I have, since mine is from 80. But I didn’t want to put things that didn’t belong. I guess I will figure it out once I have the stock grill replacement on hand. I noticed my neighbor has a K10 with...

Chevy Replacement Grill with 350 emblem option

Oh that’s interesting, I didn’t think about when they stopped having the 350 emblem. I really like how the emblem looks on the grill, but if that’s the case, and the 80s models didn’t have it, I rather not put it on, and just keep it as a nice display in my garage. Thanks fellas!

Chevy Replacement Grill with 350 emblem option

Hi Everyone, I was searching to see if anyone has been able to find a new Chevy Replacement Grill with the 350 emblem option. So, while cleaning my truck and emptying the ash tray, I was amazed to find the original 350 emblem, it seems that when the previous owner replaced the grill, he kept...

Oh wow… look at that! And this one has the square headlights like @Bextreme04 was talking about. I like the grill, but some day I would like to replace it with a replica of the original.

    Removing bed bolts

Quick update…. The bolts on the side rails are welded. But it’s not that difficult to remove them. I uses a grinding cutting wheel, quickly i could see the head and 3 welding spots around it. Here’s the pic. I decided to only remove the ones that are broken or in really bad shape.

    Removing bed bolts

Hi all, Newbie here. I found this thread, so I hope it's ok to piggy-back with my issue rather than creating a new thread. I am trying to work on my wood bed replacement. Well, actually all the wood is gone. So, I will be adding the wood floor. I am running into this issue, where the side...

New to the square body group!

Thanks, I wasn’t sure if I like at first. I never owned a yellow car before, but it’s growing on me. I think some silver wheels could tone down the yellow factor when you see it. But that will be a little bit down the road. There are other priorities like the missing wood from the bed floor, new...

New to the square body group!

Hello everyone, I finally became an owner of a C10 and I am loving it. I bought it in September (Labor Day weekend to be exact). It's a 1980 C10 Scottsdale step side. The previous owner had it for many years, so mechanically it's in good shape. It needs some body work, wood bed floor and...
