    Oil leaks

Gentlemen, thank you for all the feedback. After adding a breather on the drivers side and replacing the PCV valve on the passenger side, my oil leak has disappeared. Again, THANK YOU for all of y’all’s input and suggestions.

    Oil leaks

The drivers side was plugged when I bought the truck. I am gonna read this article and place an order for a breather and a new valve for sure. Thank you

    Oil leaks

Now I have another question. The truck had a high rise intake manifold on it when I bought it. The guy I bought it from gave me a regular intake from Edelbrock, a low rise performance intake. Now between replacing the rear main seal and the oil pan and valve cover gaskets, I replaced the intake...

    Oil leaks

Not sure if they are original, but I can tell you that the passenger side has the valve and the driver side is plugged off.

    Oil leaks

Drove the thing out to the ranch today and I’ve got oil blown all over the engine compartment. Never had that happen before. Now I have no ideas what I’ve done! So confused

    Oil leaks

It’s seem to be leaking somewhere between the trans and motor. I have replaced the rear main seal so either I screwed it up on the install or it’s something else on the back of the block. Is have put the dye in and ran the engine, now I’m waiting for it to get dark to look at it with my uv...

    Oil leaks

I am no mechanic by no means, but are you talking about a mechanical fuel pump? There is a place to mount one, but there are no holes for the arm to go into. It’s like it was not made to accept a mechanical pump.

    Oil leaks

The pvc valve is not clogged up. I can blow thru it. It seems good

    Oil leaks

Could it be a head gasket? Could it be a crack in the block? If so, wouldn’t either of these cause other problems with the way the truck runs?

    Oil leaks

This one has the dip stick on the passenger side, but it is pressed in

    Oil leaks

Gentlemen, I have been chasing an oil leak on a 86 350. I have replaced the rear main seal, oil pan gasket and the intake gasket. I have also replaced the dipstick tube just in case. Still have a leak somewhere and not sure where to go from here. The oil seems to be coming from the passenger...

    Kingpin Dana 60 hub questions

The hubs do not have a groove for a retainer ring. I am thinking maybe a thicker o ring gasket would do the trick???

    Kingpin Dana 60 hub questions

Gentlemen, I have a problem. The warn hubs are loose. I pulled the part and there is only one snap ring on the shaft. There is no retaining ring to service these in the hub. After inspection of the hub, there is no grove for a retaining ring to go. Is this normal? Has anyone ran into this...

    Factory AC

Good Monday Gentlemen, I have a ‘77 K30. It came with factory air. One of the previous owners removed the compressor and hoses. I have no idea of when this was removed. My question is, is it as easy as replacing the hoses and compressor, or am I looking at major problems?

    Body Mounts

I know the cabs are mounted on rubber bushings. Did the beds have bushings also or just mounted a straight to the frame?
