howdy have 78 c10 with 3 speed non tilt column I bought a tilt column of 1987 suburban it as turn signal arm with windshield on off and delay so how easy will the swap be? thanks gil -

Tach cluster issues
howdy i going to a swap myself from a 81 blazer to 78 c10. did you have to change the senders on the oil, water, guages? i only had idiot lights. on the tach harness what does the filter look like? was going to order one from classic parts.the guys at classic were not sure about the tach...- daylight

howdy gauge cluster come off 81 blazer. the tach has own harness which i have to splice in tach-adpt to make it work for a 6 the gauges are electric. i do have to change the senders oil and water all i had was idiot lights- daylight

howdy i can use the v8 tach but with tach-adapt from ashlocktech 65 plus shipping bakerelectronix 60 plus shipping. well it's price i have to pay for a tach. thanks for the replies- daylight

howdy got myself a saginaw 4speed a 3 lines on input 3.50 first 2.47 second 1.65 third 1.1 forth so the question is the truck has 250 inline 6 is it a good match? so where on vin no. states grear ratio for the rearend? thanks gil- daylight

howdy im a newbee just got myself a 1978 stepside with a 250 inline 6 with 3 speed on the tree. the guage cluster no gauges. on ebay found instrument cluster with gauges, tach, speedo, oil, volt, water temp, gas. will a tach of v8 work on a inline 6 now im just guessing it off a v8? will swap...- daylight
