howdy got myself a saginaw 4speed a 3 lines on input 3.50 first 2.47 second 1.65 third 1.1 forth so the question is the truck has 250 inline 6 is it a good match? so where on vin no. states grear ratio for the rearend?

This is a factory OEM 4 speed?

VIN # will not state the rear end gear ration. You can look for a SPID label in the glove box or the driver side fender well under the hood for the options. If it's been removed, then you'll have to jack it up and count the pinion turns in relation to the wheel turn.

Its a great setup. Ive got an inline 6 and sm465 in my 81. About to do the clutch, throwout bearing and clutch fork soon.
