Newb with 1979 c10 diesel
Well so far it's been great. Fires right up cold, makes good oil pressure, and when I'm patient enough even gets up to 75-80 mph! I was told this is its second engine, it is the later DX block so that's believable. It's been many many years since I've seen a running 5.7 square. Proud to own one!- GMC1978

Newb with 1979 c10 diesel
Hey all! Not new to squares but haven't owned one for a few years. For many years I've searched for a 78-80 diesel powered model. Finally hit paydirt and found one a few hundred miles from home. It's a 79 Silverado, fully loaded, and has about 50,000 original miles. Hoping to find any other...- GMC1978
