    Removal of the radiator support

Interesting. ... they don't mention pulling the front bumper. I can't see how that support can come out with the bumper still attached.

    Removal of the radiator support

I hope your right! Had my bumper off last year, so that should be a non issue. Figure both battery trays, the overflow tank... oh and I have a cooler of sorts up there, embarrassed to say not sure if it's oil or ATF. Would be nice if I could pass it through the support vs having to remove it.

    Removal of the radiator support

LOL, that makes one of us!!! I'll never repaint it, because I would want it done right... but damn, it's tough to drive a color you don't care for.

    1984 bench seat upgrade... options?

My K5 is much more comfortable to drive... no doubt. It's like when they rebuilt my seat they added 2 much foam in the lumbar area (like that when I got the truck) What about the C/K 88 to ? Trucks... they came with a 60/40... no??

    1984 bench seat upgrade... options?

Ok... so I thought I was going to swap Suburban buckets and console in place of my bench on my 84 K2500. However now I'm being told those Suburban buckets offer even less legroom then my stock 84 bench seat. As much as I would love to swap in the buckets I can't have even less leg room. Not...

    Heartthrob exhaust

Anyone have experience with heartthrob exhaust? They get decent reviews, but don't see any squarebody specific stuff.

    1984 Engine specs..

HELL NO! (My truck has no hitch on it, LOL). Hey, speaking of hitches, can I put one on with the factory spare tire under the truck? Also does the type of rear bumper (not some big old drop bumper) play a factor in the hitch mount?

    1984 Engine specs..

Trade for a turbo 400? LOL. In all seriousness I'm sure the 700R can handle all 160 or so ponies this thing is putting out!

Any good hacks/upgrades you've come up with for our trucks

Huh.. I had no idea. I know when we went from standard to "minis" on our 8.1s we retained the bolts. All we had to do was modify the 12v lead so it would fit on the solonoid.

    Hmmmm as in longer bolts?

Any good hacks/upgrades you've come up with for our trucks

Ok, but will it work on pre 95 engines? I recall the 8.1s came with a standard (old school ) starter in our fleet back in the day. When we replaced them we were sent minis.

Any good hacks/upgrades you've come up with for our trucks

The 8.1 uses a "mini starter". Anyone know for sure if it fits the SBC? I *think* it does.

    1984 Bench seat question.

Guys The bench seat on my 84 K2500 will not adjust rearward equally. By that I mean to say when adjusting the seat rearward's the drivers side moves slightly further back then the passenger side. Now before I rip the seat out, only to find this is normal, is it? Thanks!

    89-91 GMC quad light question

Interesting. The OEM 1 piece grille emblem is still available from GM Part # 12542030. $70.

    Some 89-91 help please.

Mesh is a good idea. Mine needs something, but I don't need something that would be a bug collector though.

    Some 89-91 help please.

I wonder if the grille in your illustration belonged to the old school dual headlamp setup. From the photos of the 89-91 quad lamp setup the grille emblem looks like 1 part, not 3.

Yes Just looking to solve the part number for the GMC emblem question.

    Some 89-91 help please.

So I'm trying to put together a quad grill and bucket GMC setup for my truck. The elusive GMC emblem has been a PITA to pin down. Best guess right now is a 12542030 that's still available for $70. So I'm asking for help. Can anyone confirm the part number I listed? Or would a owner of a...
