So im running an old 305 with a sm465 and 205. I have a 6.0 that I plan on swapping in this coming year but before I do that, I would like to get the truck back on the road and work out all the issues before committing to a drivetrain rebuild and the swap. One of my issues is the acc drive. I have 94 tbi alum serp brackets without smog provision, but I don’t have the second hole in my passenger head and I don’t plan on drilling. What are yals thoughts on running only one bolt in the head with the lower block bolt for the passenger bracket? I’m not running ac and my second option would be a cheap v belt kit from summit. Either way I’m looking at around 2-300. Alternator and water pump with ac delete pulley, or a power steering pump and v brackets. It’s just I already have the serp brackets from a previous project.

Welcome from NW FL! Saw a sticker one time that read: "These old things convert dollar bills into loud noises"!

Welcome to the Square Body nut house. I am on my 4th and have had it tore apart for 3.5 months. I have three "books" running for this one. Book one is a three ring binder with all of my receipts and a running total. Don't cheat here. Number two book is a note pad that I keep track of all my orders on. When I order anything for this project or anything else, I write down who I ordered from what it is and how much it costs. When any item comes in I write in the date and put a line through it. When a page is full of completed orders I pitch it in the recycle box. Book #3 is a spiral notebook that I keep track of what I want / plan to do to the truck...Not a book but a good fun thing I do is take photos of everything I do on the truck as I do it along with before and after photos. Keep these on my computer. This is the first SB I've done this with but it pretty handy I have one credit card dedicated to this truck. I always use it when I buy anything for this truck and don't use it for any non-project purchases.
Welcome aboard.

Welcome from far west Texas!

Nice shorty, with granny great too!

I lived out in Spring, TX. Actually Klien, Texas many years ago and worked out in Tomball.
I see all has been pretty much swallowed up by H-town now.

Be well and stay safe out there.
Best wishes to you and all of your loved ones always!
