    looking for advice on removing the steering arm cone washers on my 85 K10. I have douched it with PB Blaster; heated it cherry red, and beat the piss out of it with a 2.5lb hammer..... so far one popped.... theses things suck

    This did happen, it wasn’t much but I did squeeze it.... definitely the wrong u bolt. I called Rough Country and they are sending me out a replacement

    Chuck, I hadn’t even noticed... I went back and checked, the u-bolt is definitely too wide, I’ll call them in the morning

    What did the A833 come in?

    In Chrysler applications it was a A833 in GM it was NP833, essentially the same transmission, from what I understand it is a Legendary Mopar transmission. My truck was a factory 305 with an NP833 behind it. I was happy with it, I plan on rebuilding it prior to reinstalling it during my restoration

    I am installing the rear end on my k10 today. It has a new Rough Country 4in lift (block) kit that came with new u bolts. I didn’t notice that 1 u bolt is a solid inch shorter than the other 3. Did they send me a wrong part? I can’t think why 1 would be shorter. I checked and all the front ones...
