How can I identify what EGR I have?

Thanks guys I found the part I needed by looking at all the EGR's autozone has listed. It's EGR138 , FYI. Bucket was right, it fits a '78 (something, I can't find it now).

How can I identify what EGR I have?

So, I'm having a problem. I don't know what kind of truck I should tell people at autozone I have when looking for a part. It's worked for the most part if I just tell them I have a 91 g30. But since I have no way of knowing what kind of truck this engine came out of I just tell them that. I...

Thanks guys. I did fire it up with the new carb once. It ran ok. It didn't have much connected at that point and still did fine. Thanks for the follow Jim!

Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Focusing on the EGR only and plugging up or re-routing anything else if it's not already hooked up. I've got the distributer hooked up to the carb already. I'll order that part and hook the EGR to it. Thanks!!!

Ok, so I'm about to buy that TVS switch but need a bit more advice. The part I pulled off is one for a distributor it seems. It's marked with #14031351. The info I see is that they have different TVS' for distributor, EGR, and EFE. It opens at 140-160. Can I replace this with the same part, or...

Thanks Jim. I'll try and get this sorted out. I do have to pass emissions but they don't check to see if stuff is hooked up. I just need to pass a sniffer.

Ok, so you are saying the one I painted orange below... hooks up to the red tube or the green nipple? Or, the tube in the 3rd pic below that's on the snout? Good eye! Yeah you're right, all 4 are missing. Don't know what the PO was thinking. :/ If you think it's serious than I...

Thanks Jim! "Yes, th egr valve was usually connected to a thermal ported vacuum switch on the front water passage of the intake, and that switch was connected to ported vacuum on the carb...usually the drivers side vacuum port low on the carb." So, I'm guessing the thermal ported vacuum switch...

Now this PCV on the drivers head is gone. Where does the drivers side PCV connect?

These two diaphragms aren't on the new carb. What are they? And should I install them on the new carb?

Next, on the intake manifold, I have this one nipple that's not connected to anything. Where does this go? Next to it there's a hard line that connected to the carb. But as you can see the SMI carb is blocked off in that spot (below the choke thermostat). Just block this off? The old...

Now I'm hoping you guys can advise me on this mess of vacuum lines. There's no vacuum diagram on the truck and now we know it's got a different engine, and now a slightly different carb. I've got some of them figured out but a few are alluding me. Really, when I bought the truck, pretty much...
