As far as I know Radial T/A's don't come in 16's. I've never done any towing with the truck it's just gonna be a weekend cruiser. I'd stick with my Turbines but 16.5's are next to impossible to find
Hey guys I'm currently looking for a new set of wheels. More specifically I'm looking for 15s so i can run some BFGoodrich Radial T/As. My question is what do I need to do to run 15s. Grinding the calipers? And will they fit over the rear drums? It's a 79 C20. Any help from you guys is...
I got her running again... Still a little rough but it stays running on its own. Guess i get to mess with the timing some more. Gotta love computer advance timing!
Update. No smoke coming outta tb today. While cranking though gas is misting out of the tb. Im stumped. Tried moving plug wires, twisting distributor, n unplugging the computer advance with the same result...
Ok so heres the rundown. I have an 87 v10 350 tbi. I recently dropped a motor in from a 91. So Saturday I was buttoning it all up and I finally got it running. Well today I decided to get it timed right and running good. Cranked it over n it didn't wanna stay running after she fired. It will...
Hey guys so I'm thinking of swapping my TBI motor out for a carb'd 350... I've asked this question before and I only got advice on switching intake manifolds n throwing a carb on it. So what I really need to know is how do I get a carb'd engine to run in the truck?? I know it's going to set off...
Mine does this too sometimes.. the truck will be off, no key in the ignition, and the wipers will go off... Anyone else had this problem? What could it be? The wiper switch itself? Or the wiper motor maybe?
Well i figured my 79 out i think... Threw another reman'd starter in, hooked all my wires back up, reconnected the battery, and bam! Fired right up! I guess i win for now hahah
This ones already been rebuilt recently... I just didnt seal the valley on the back of the intake completely and she ran extremely low on oil bringin her back from the exhaust shop that was 35 miles away.. stupid i know, was pretty late and i wasnt watching my gauges..
Yeah Irishman i think im gonna yank the motor out. Seems way easier than just rolling the bearings in haha. How much do ya think a shop would charge to check the crankshaft out and everything?
