So i want a bigger cam who doesn't like the sound the bigger cams make. i am running a 383 with a roller cam now. I asked the guy what cam he had in it and he said was just a basic roller. so sounds stock to me at idle no choppy idle. I am running stock heads port polished and eldelbrock high...
. There are some wires that where all shorted out looking. back at the value under the truck. SO and they were just cut and dangling down so i black taped them and zip tie out of the way. Should the fuel tank sending unit wires just run along side the frame?
i will check it out this weekend...
So i have the same set up on my 73 and they guy who owned the truck before me said the passenger side tank was giving him problems. So he just cut all the wire back the fuel selector value. Could this be the reason why my fuel gauge isnt working ?
so i am pretty sure my ball joint passenger side on my 73 chevy 4x4 is going out. I just got the elusive clunking sound every once in awhile. is it safe to drive around like this until i can get it replaced. Tire inst gonna come off or anything?
Is the motor Cranking and then locking up a little? And are you having a hard time starting it after you have driven it. my starter was heating up in traffic since i have longtubes. and i had to put a heat shield on it.
