Could be a spring like you were saying. I was thinking it could be something binding in the system that holds the door open. -

It shouldn’t be. The truck is really straight with no frame or body damage. Hasn’t moved more than a few hundred feet for over 5 years, and it just started recently. -
Door has a loud metallic pop when closed
This just started recently. When I open the passenger side door all the way and start to close it, there is a loud metallic pop. It does not happen on the drivers side. Is there anything that I could check into to stop the issue? It is a 73 K20.
