    Thanks Mike, I'm looking at a posi traction rebuild kit from Ebay. The kit has a Yukon Dura Grip w/ USA Standard or Richmond Excel.(3.42 ratio) I'll go with the USA Standard ring & pinion option. Has received good internet reviews

    Has anyone had any experience with a Richmond Excel ring & pinion? I am also considering USA Standard. Some reviews state the Richmond Excel is noisy, so this has me leaning towards the USA Standard.

    I'm gathering some info.on some headers for my pickup. I like them up high not hanging down. Has anyone had any experience using Hookers #2452 or Patriot #h8048. I have a '85 C10, SBC 350 under const.

    I'll be beefing up the th350c & save some dollars. Its a truck for cruzin, not a racer. I'd be curious if anyone has a mild performance 350 engine with a th350 behind it's opinion.

    My C10 has the stock 2:9?, but I can change that accordingly. I'm in the process of putting together a 350-400hp 350. And I'm gathering this info. to stay with the th350c or change to a 700r4. The truck is only driven occationally, it's not a DD. I'm leaning towards beefing up the th350c...

    If i swap my th350c to a 700r4 is there noticeable fuel mileage increase? I'm considering to rebuild the th350c or swap it for a 700r4. If there's only 2-3 mpg increase, I'm not sure if a swap is worth the effort.

    The HP gain is approximately 30hp & TQ is 15 ft lbs. I will be visiting the local machine shop. For their input.

    Well after some research, Ill be staying with the original GM crate engine #10067353 with the Comp Cams 12-235-2. Using the GM crate engine #12530283 with a mild Comp Cam only produces 5% gain in HP & TQ at a greater cost. Aden

    Oh & the 305 is running the Qjet. This may be rebuilt & used. Depending on a rebuilder or my time if I'm doing it.
