i'll try a new one, but shouldn't the purple wire running from the relay to the blower mtr light up, or does it mean the resistor is bad, or possibly the relay
blower motor doesn't work, checked blower mtr and its good, checked the hot wire coming from junction block and it lights at the relay bolted to a/c box. shouldn't the purple wire light up after the relay
does the main feed from the fuse block run through the selector switch. so if it were bad would that cause a malfunction to the relay ,resistor and blower mtr. ,getting hot with a test light at relay and selector switch but no hot after each one
can the junction block go bad? test light lights up on the side that runs from alt., starter, battery, fuse block, but doesn't light up on the other side, which runs to the a/c blower mtr., does that mean that the junction block is bad
had a black looking wire hanging below dash, when investigating it went to a plastic clip or something plugged into the dash above the ash tray door. what is it for and where does it plug too?
i put an old school 350 in my 86, with a holley carb, can i simply unhook all the electrical wires that went to the factory carb at the firewall bulkhead connector to the fuse box
new to the forum plus a little computer illiterate so i apologize for the confusion on the multiple threads. can do most anything when working on autos, but when it comes to the wiring, well that's my low point. thanks for the info, i appreciate it.
