    Well it runs all day as long as you keep shooting starter fluid in the carb. So hopefully it's the pump and not the sending unit.

    I got a new battery and still no gas. Filter is dirty but not clogged. I took all the hoses and the pump off, nothing looked out of the ordinary. When you take the pump off, and then put it back on, do you have to start it with start fluid and keep spraying fluid for a while to give the pump...

    First of all, turn your caps lock off. Second, I put gas in it with the same result. Learn some etiquette.

    Yup, that's what the PO replaced. It looks brand new. Maybe some gunk from the fuel tank is in it and clogged it or something?

    Thanks for the info guys. I've never done any kind of body work so this is all going to be a learning experience. My cab floor isn't in perfect shape so I don't mind the holes if that'll help the process. Hopefully in a week or so I'll have my shop cleaned out enough to get the truck in there...

    Would the step side bed be worth anything? It's got some rust spots looks like but in overall good shape. I would probably swap out for a regular bed. Do you know how much I could get for those pieces if I sold them?

    Thanks guys. Probably have to wait til next week to do it. Tonight and tomorrow our schedules don't match up and it's just far enough away that I don't want to run up there too many times unless I'm ready to possibly pull the trigger when I do.
