    Ding-**** Daughter broke her truck.

My lovely daughter didn't know she was in 4wd and was making a sharp turn into her driveway. of course, we all know what she heard but, she kept going anyway.:banghead: now, she has NO power steering... did she blow the PS pump? She has a 97 K1500.

    Yikes, Reverse issue.

Good Morning all, I had to change my return fuel line in my V2500. Afterwards, the reverse sucks. just stutters, stumbles then eventually a slow reverse. Did I possible mess something up? it never did this before. Thanks

I'm back. LOL New Starter, no power.

There's alwaysvonly been the 2 wires. The battery wire does have a fuse able link, but it looks good.

I'm back. LOL New Starter, no power.

I'm back! LOL. decided to change my sterter, the old one was being goofy. Anyways, installed new starter and now nothing, zip. Had it tested, it tested fine. Everything is connected, good ground, but won't start. No crank, no click from the soleniod. no dash lights or door chime. but Yay...

    Timing Changes?

Thanks 89! Maybe, I'm a little OCD with this timing... LMAO It's set at "zero" with tan/black wire unplugged. I won't worry about what it is with it plugged back in.. This Suburban will stay alive as long as I live!!! :dancingpoop: Winner never quit, and quitter never Win!!!

    1990 Suburban ECM-1 fuse blows, again & again :-(

Thank you Everyone First, I want to say "Thank You" to all that helped with this post. It's greatly appreciated! :-) Finally, I found the short! The wire harness that sits behind the check valve was shorting out on the check valve tube... What a flippin adventure & learning...

    Timing Changes?

I've unplugged the timing wire, set the timing to "zero" correct? When I plug the timing wire back in, timing jumps up 12 degrees. is this normal?

    1990 Suburban ECM-1 fuse blows, again & again :-(

Ok.... I've been up, over, under every wire... nothing frayed, burnt, exposed, etc. Girl question of the day: Since the main power to the harness is supplied at the starter could the starter solenoid overload that fuse? yes, the starter cranks... Just a shot in the dark....

I was able to get the truck in the backyard, paid tow co. $80 :Boo: as of this moment here is what is unplugged. Injectors, Map, IAC, EGR solenoid, ESC, ECM, O2, Tranny, Fuel pump, relays, oil pressure sending unit, TPS, Coolant temp gauge, no radio, no dome lights, dash gauges completely...

    1990 Suburban ECM-1 fuse blows, again & again :-(

Question.... is the main source of power to the fuse panel come from the harness in the engine compartment? :suicide:
