    Rear Driveshaft question.

    I have a 1980 3/4 rolling chassis with the 44 front and 14 bff in the rear. I don't have a rear driveshaft for it. I am putting my 350/350 turbo/ and t-case in the rolling chassis. will a long box 1/2 driveshaft work? Or will I have to find a custom one? Thanks.

    LOL. Forgot to ask the question. My son distracted me. I need a rear driveshaft for the longer wheel base. Am I going to have to customize one to fit my current t-case to bolt up to the 14bff? ALso what about the front shaft? They must use bigger u-joints right?

    I am upgrading my 87 1/2 ton rear axle to a 14bff. Also I don't know what t-case I have. I have the TH350 trans. Also going from short box to long box frame due to major rust holes and a great deal. Any insight from the pros?

    Frame Question.

    I will be using my 87 hood,fenders,radiator support, and cab. I just needed a better frame. I still want to use my gaud headlight set up. If this frame won't let me do that then I guess I will have to sell it. Can I do this swap with out a **** load of customizing?

    Frame Question.

    Not much trouble at all for me. The PO sprayed the frame with something and water got behind it and the frame is very soft in quite a few spots.

    I posted in my other thread but only got 1 response. So here we go. I have an 87 4x4, I purchased an 80 3/4 frame with axles. Frame is a lot better than mine. Will my 87 front end bolt to the 80 frame? If not what will I have to do to make it work? Thanks.

    New here and want to redo my 87 1500.

    What do you mean body mounts? the ones on the frame or buy new rubber bushing kit for an 80? It came with a radiator support but I will be using a new 87 one. So I can use this frame? Wondering before I completely strip it and get it looking new again.

    Shackle Flip Lift ???

    Can someone explain to me the process of the shackle flip? Pros and/or cons to it? How much does it lift it? Thinking of going 4 inch with 35's. Either Mickey Thompson claws or TSL SX.

    Exactly. I don't want to do rocks with it. Mild trails are good. Be able to tow something if I have to. A lot will be sand. That is where it has been the most. I have a jeep for heavy trails and ORV parks. It is not "built" heavily either. Like I said, I just want it to "hang" when I do go out...
