I have notched the flywheel bolt holes out. The problem is the curvature of the 5.3 flywheel. I was hoping somebody else has run into this issue with a K10 or 700R4

I think my torque converter is going out. All the symptoms are there. I was wondering what everyone has been using. I have an '85 K10 with a crate 350/300hp engine, 700R4 (jasper trans) I don't really want to spend a ton of money on a torque converter, but I don't want to buy junk either.
My driver side (left) header appears to be hitting my leafspring. I have an occasional rattle sound under certain driving conditons. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, what precautions did you take?
I'm hoping to tear the rest of the way into mine tonight. If I shredded a bearing (like I think I did) I"ll just rebuild mine. I found a couple of good rebuild kits from MOTIVE GEAR. If anyone has anymore or better suggestions, I'm all ears!
