I have connected the power wire to the starter from the fuse block and the solenoid starter wire. Is that the only source of power for my fuse block? I am getting power to my ignition circuits. but not my lights. (head lights/tails and turns) Is there a secondary power source that i need to hook...
Honky, Thanks My machine shop is a very reputable place I'm sure they did. But since you mention it I will now be asking! And thanks for the (non hater) disclaimer! lol. You have been very helpful on all of my posts that you have responded too. Thanks for contributing!
Shiftpro. Yea I had a duel plane intake initially however I have seen that the Throttle body EFI kits are kind of picky when it comes to Dual vs. Single plane intakes. So that's why I choose that intake.
Honky you actually already sent me the pics in a previous post! thank you! And what do you mean about going over the crank? The standard measurements? ( plastic gauge?) Or something else?
The engine is a 98 Vortec 454 roller cam stroked to a 496. With Eagle forged crank and H-beam rods. Mahle pistons, Howards cam, Brodix Race rite heads. And Brodix intake. Leaning towards a Holley sniper EFI kit to feed it.
Thank you! I wasn't sure. I have a set of A-body long tubes atm from a buddy that I will "make" work since my fun money is all gone.. I bought the truck 2-3 months ago. Here are the pics thus far.
I just had a 496 built for my 87 V10. Will it fit under the stock hood? Or will i need to go with a cowl hood ? I just dropped the truck off at the body shop so I cant set it in there to see. Thanks in advance!!
I could have sworn that there was parts warehouse off of US-23. Although I cannot for the life of me remember what the company was called. Anyone on here know? I need to get new bedsides fenders and a door asap. Thanks in Advance!!!
About an 87 v10. I have a buddy with A-Body Big Block headers that he will give me if they will fit. I'm wondering if they will. It has a big block 496. Or if I need to just buy a set. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you.
