Well I just took delivery of the radiator. All looks good. It is a huge 2 core. Total core width is almost 2 1/2" that should have no problem keeping this engine cool and should work down the road when the 305 is done and I go to something larger and higher output.

I've ordered the wider big block radiator isolators which should be here tomorrow. I need to be sure to grab some heater hose and a new radiator cap so I can change those out (radiator hoses and T-stat were done last year) and do a good flush. I've flushed it before, but as long as I've had the truck the coolant has that kind of old harsh smell to it, and I wanna make sure that's gone. Maybe I should toss a bottle of flush in drive it for a few days.... I'll think on that a little. The soonest I think I'd be able to do the replacement would be Friday at the farm so gives me a little time to get my stuff together.

Time for a radiator, has anyone used Engineered Cooling Products? Tanks appear to have an OE look

Wow if I had known about that I might have put one of those in. I love the look. I'd grab some black aluminum paint and do the tanks so it would really look very close to the OE cooper / brass radiator.

Sorry, the only thread that seemed to fit, hoping someone had already done the leg work
Thanks!

No offence but why does that even matter? It still fits with this thread. Oh, I see you miss read the date, the first post was from Dec 2021, the last post was Feb 13, 2022.

Since I was the OP and thread creator I'm going to put this out there right now. You can dig up an old thread of mine anytime, I think it's really great when there is a thread with a lot of information, it makes it easier for someone to find a LOT of radiator options in one thread vs having to search out and look though numerous threads

Yea, that happens too. I think it's just because the forum is so big, it's just impossible to keep up with everything.
