He's had those up for awhile. That's actually a damned good deal for 5.

That's what I was thinking. I haven't been looking for them for a while. I just stumbled across them when looking up some stuff for a buddy. Of course, I run across them when I don't have the extra $500 to put towards that right now since we're going on vacation in a couple of weeks.

ok, I hate to do it but ive got to sell my truck. 79 k10 4x4. v8 350/th350/np203/3.73... has new edelbrock carb and performer intake, chrome valve covers. just put it a rebuilt tranny and xcase 203 with the conversion. new tires, spent 800 on em!. heres the kicker, the truck wont pass smog because it was missing some vacuum lines...then i took all the smog stuff out and said f it.
the truck will come with a parts truck, heres the good part... parts truck is an 82 long bed gmc with a diesel smog exempt title. registered all year. no motor,no trans,no case. no doors. missing one of the fenders but the hood, cab (although slightly cut up around the dash) is still there with a perfect long bed with a tail gate. I know im not going to get close to what i have into it back, but i dont have a choice. there are plenty of pics in my posts but ill send you some more if youre interested. email "[email protected]" with ?s or for pics. thanks

I've often wanted to build a 200-4r
200's are the poop. I often wondered back in the day why no one could keep a 700 in there truck, and Dad an I pulled a 21' bowrider down to the chesapeake every weekend for years with an 84 Parisienne wagon w/ 2.73's in it, and never had a problem. Never towed in OD of course...until later when we swapped a 3.73 posi in it. 305 never blew, but became extremely tired, and we swapped a 350 in around 150k....This is when we realized what a 200 was. 250k on it, and Dad sold it. I'm guessing 50-60k towing...still on the OG trans when it drove away to be replaced by a LT1 Roadmaster Wagon.

Friend built a 600hp NA LSx 3rd gen Rx7, and after wadding up several T-56s at the drag strip put in a built 200, and probably has 200 passes on it now plus street driving. He had originally intended to go left/right turn racing, but ended up at the strip all the time instead shooting for LSx/IRS record.

Have seen countless 200's go 10's or better in Grand Nationals over the years with no more problems than anyone with a TH350 running sames times@ same weight.

They're definitely the ultimate OD auto trans swap.
