    Enumclaw

learned a new word….thanks! Haha Enumclaw is a town here that has a cruise once a month. And no, didn’t go. But we do sometimes. Only 20 min from the house on farm roads.

What have you done to your square lately??

That’s the best idea/hack I’ve seen in a while! I always struggle to get a consistent line around a rim with a tire on it.

Wheel almost fell off while driving…help

How many miles on that setup before the last 2 times it was worked on? And there would be no need to remove the front wheels for an alignment and no need to remove the rear wheels for either repair, so if 3 wheels were loose, at least 1 was rear tire. If the truck is new to you, could be wrong...

Ha! While most of us are just wasting company time, you can totally justify your on the clock participation as Marketing/business development!

    Painting rally wheel rim

Absolutely. I’ve only done black on a past truck, but color matched wheels can look super cool.

    Fusible link burned.

Could be. You melted something together in the headlight circuit that is causing a bit of a live short. Headlight switches are cheap if that’s it. Or maybe cheap Chinese relay in the headlight relay kit. The cheap kit I bought is junk. I could see melting a relay over time.

    Painting rally wheel rim

Even if he was painting 5 wheels he wouldn’t need more than a pint at most of etching/epoxy/dtm primer. It’s 1 dusting and 1 light to med coat, just enough to cover. For comparison, I only used slightly more than a gallon (maybe 5-6 qts sprayable) of filler primer also thinned for sealer on an...

    Painting rally wheel rim

You can use spray bomb etching or dtm primer and paint. It will be fine. Not as good as good paint or powder coat. Yes of course you want to put “something” on the inside of the rim. Would be silly to just let it rust instantly and perpetually. I’d just order a can or 2 of what you need off...

    Oil sending unit hole issue

Male Allen socket back to square drive from the socket on the pipe plug is a solid reverse engineer to get it back to something you can us an impact on if it’s stuck stuck.

Engine Stalling - Bad EVAP/Charcoal Canister?

Well if the accelerator pump wasn’t working and now it is and it cured the repeatable issue, that was likely the issue. Not sure how to address your other concern about the venting and how your fuel system is setup as per your descriptions there now aren’t issues there. I don’t think you...

    Did they mess up belts?

Do you mean an air pump? Have you compared to an OE belt routing diagram for your model? That’s assuming your setup is still OE configuration. Surprised shop lets you byop. (Bring your own parts)

    My thoughts on spare alternators

I guess, conversely, I thoroughly enjoy driving any number of “new cars” when sitting in traffic for a couple hours a day in the rain, or making that weekly road trip across state at 5am, or towing….anything, or the heated seats and wheel when it’s 0 deg outside. Have had a few infotainment...

    Rear wheels on k20?

Kinda looks like what @bucket said. But it is a FF axle. And it appears to be a 3/4 ton based on the springs if they are untouched. Not sure what craziness is going on exactly though. What’s the front axle/hubs/wheels look like? Bottom line, doesn’t really matter other than it may/does have...
