I hate the power window and door lock switches

Very well put. Solder is the best, I trust over any crimp connector. Pivot/hinge are key.

What have you done to your square lately??

VHT for the covers? Mine are holding up great so far (4 months). The rustoleum job I did before didn't last 6 months before flaking off.

    New guy here from Wyoming.

Welcome from KY. There's plenty of questions answered already. Search for what you looking for, if you can't find it feel free to ask away. Great group of folks here.

    Power window motor?

nice to know....will the 70's motor/regulators work in an 86? If so this would make it so much easier to build your own harness/custom switches. The switches I got like to stick in up and down position.

    Gears

maybe drop a 700R4 or 4L80 transmission in it? It'll give you a 4th gear. [edit] nevermind, you said it was a 3 speed manual.

What have you done to your square lately??

lay a heavy coat of citristrip on it. Then put saran wrap over it to keep it wet. Come back 24 hours later and see what you got. Can find it at walmart. Get one bottle and test if in doubt.

    Radiator condenser combo.

really.....why? Cost? I've been sticking with brass because I've got a radiator shop up the road. i need to start stock piling them I think lol.

    Radiator condenser combo.

There is a post somewhere that shows how to upgrade the radiator using 88+'ish truck radiators. Some even included oil cooling. These were still copper/brass. @bucket @HotRodPC @89Suburban for a refresher hopefully. I don't like plastic tanks personally, so I stuck with original on my swap...

    Power window motor?

if in doubt, run a positive and negative directly to the motor connection from a 12V battery. then reverse the wires just in case while ur there. Helps if you have an old plug to sacrifice to extend it out the door.
