My truck has SPID code 486 Granada Beige/White. Thinking this may be a rare color or color combination as I have not actually seen any others of the same color. Curious if there are any members with this same color combination or a solid color.

I've never seen it...
It's a nice relaxing yet masculine color.... and your truck is in amazing shape.

I have a question about your parts ID card... what is variable ratio power?? It's listed right under the engine specs. Is this a spread bore carb..?

I cannot tell you. I don't know the specifics of that. Shows option N41, whatever that is.

Looked online and per this site http://www.angelfire.com/ny2/96transam/rpocodes.html

Shows N41 : STEERING, POWER, VARIABLE RATIO. Not sure if this is completely accurate or not.

I want to say I’ve seen a few like this before, and I’m almost positive that I’ve seen some solid colored ones. Of course, seeing them and owning them are two different things.

I wish I had pics of my grandfather's square. I want to say his was a 77 and was solid that color. It was a hard color to describe. He referred to it as bronze sometimes. How they call it a Beige I don't know but that's not beige imo. It almost but not quite, looks to be several shades lighter than the Sunburst Orange used on 2002 ish Avalanches.

Man, those 73-74's are hard to find not rusted to the ground in the midwest.
And if not all rusted out, they're all beat the hell. Charlie's is a nice one for sure.

Your color looks similar to mine, which in 1980 was called Camel.

Your paint also appears to be better than mine ...

Id say thats variable ratio power steering box. Steering gets tighter as you get towards the locks. Didnt know they put them in the trucks. Heard about them in montes n such. Truck is probly easy to park, huh?

Not real easy to park due to the limited turn radius and being long bed. Can turn with one finger very easy though. I love the steering.

Paint is not in real great condition. Pics do not reveal all the brushed painted areas that the PO did. Not all over, but in several places. Not real happy about that, but, not able to have all body work and paint done cause it would be costly. I just deal with it as is.
