I've been reading all the forums and there's just so much information....

The VIN and Title say 1973.

Some of the things that stand out to me,
- grill 89 Blazer
- Hinges retract into the cab
- Bed has a gas door
- Power Windows
- Tailgate

I read something about turn signal being on the dash (vs blinker) but this is not put together

Im sure the front end is 87ish C10 or 89ish Blazer, Cab Unknown, Bed 76+ because of the fuel door

Any ideas? Anything that sticks out to you to give a clue?

Looks like a newer cab. There is speaker holes in the corner of the dash and a spot for a VIN tag (but no vin there). Has the '73 VIN been transferred to the door jamb?

Does this have a vin? And what is does it say? The bed is 79ish+ fenders 81+, grill/light combo is end of the run so suburban blazer 90ish. Used to like the end of the run grill/light combo...times and feelings change. 83-87 single for the win.:burnout:

What was your question again? This seems to be a title/cab swap issue.

Frame / titled as a 73, I'm guessing the rest of the later parts are built on the chassis. Early cabs had the vin on the cab where the door closes. If you checked the vin on the frame it probably matches the vin on the title.

Everything about that truck screams 81-87 to me, except the 89-91 grill, and the frame does look like a 70s frame.

If assume it's a newer body swap on a older frame. Vin is probably from the original body.

Probaly similar situation to one of my trucks. To the casual eye it looks like a 85 GMC K15, but its titled as a 76 Chevy K10, becuse that's the title I had, that matches the frame. If you run the cab vin, it's a 84 Chevy C30.
