I know.

I didnt do this by the way.

My thinking: cut out this excess bloat bs, get the the piipes expanded to original OD(?), find a piece of same size between each section, use appropiate BAND exhaust clamps, fix hanger in the front, and then rotate resonator so that it is not gonna catch the ground.
I will then fit it all so the hangers arent stressed, then check for bad leaks and repair(tape needed in one spot), then recommend customer get it welded if harassed by police but not to sink any money into this pile

i'd also probably steer away from the tape and just get it done right, but budgets are budgets

its just a spot hole after the cat the metal isnt rusted out but no matter how we limp it along its not worth a new catback or cat. the thing runs so bad i wouldnt be surprised if the cat is plugged too

Total exhaust delete, Open manifolds, just duct tape the 02 sensors (if applicable) to the body.

It'll be fineeeeee

hell of a situation you got there. and TECHNICALLY in a non-emission inspection county, as long as the sensors ARE present someway somehow, YOU PASS haha

Oof it'll run SO BAD if theyre getting fresh oxygen though lol
She must not have to do emissions, i'd think they wouldnt pass an exhaust in that state, but i may be mistaken?

Yeah, you definitely want the secondary o2 working, otherwise it'll cause a rich condition as well, further clogging the cat.

Looks easy peasy rotate the muffler slide it back 2 inches clamp it and tack it. Cut the forward flange off slip pipe in the front slip pipe in muffler, 2 clamps and 1 hanger. If you can add tacks at each connection so things don't move.
