What size 17 tires for dropping a 79 C35? Im looking for a wide low profile but fitting the truck.

I am cutting a coil out of the front and doing an axle over spring relocation and removing the helper spring as well as a couple of springs out of the spring pack to soften ride.

Something like a 255/50 I think would look appropriate on a truck. But for a lower profile look, a 245/45 fits that rim width well.
