What is this bracket?

It was lumped in with my SM465 but I don't think it's part of the Z bar linkage (maybe it is?). I thought it might be an alternator bracket but not sure. I'm sure someone knows...

probably smog pump bracket positioned by the fuel pump.

It's a bracket that you would put a chain around and back to the frame. All because of the monstrous amount of torque the 305s had.
