Swapped the AMD front plate back on it for C10 Nationals and changed out my turn signal flasher. For several years now, I'd been running a NAPA LED flasher relay that has a separate ground wire plus a 50ohm resister in each corner for the turn signals and it worked great. Last spring, right before I quit driving the truck, the flasher relay died so I had to manually blink to make turns lol. Once I got the truck back together in July, I threw in a regular flasher to see what it would do. Ever since then, the blinkers worked normally while the lights were off but the front signals behind the grille wouldn't do anything if the running lights/headlights were on. They just stayed solid.
So I decided I prob needed another LED specific relay. Napa's flasher relay was damn near 3 times Amazon's price for a pack of 2, so Amazon won. Threw it in and tossed the other non-LED flasher relay into the hazard relay spot because I've never had working hazards as long as I've owned this truck. I think that's the original relay!

Get all that swapped and it's still doing the same thing. So now I'm checking grounds and trying to figure out WTF I did wrong when I put everything back together. My coworker comes over and notices that when I pull the running lights on, the front markers are WAYYY brighter than they are when they're blinking as signals with the lights off, basically they're working backwards. So I start wondering if I could've installed the bulbs backwards. Pulled the grill out and sure enough, they were backwards. Now everything works like it should. It's hard to get it to pick up on the camera but this is the LH blinker and RH running light. Glad to have that fixed cuz it's pretty much supposed to rain all weekend
