What Goes Here on my 1987 5.7L TBI Silverado Intake Manifold?

I'm neck deep in replacing the gaskets on my 1987 Silverado Intake Manifold. I'm trying to buy a replacement for the fitting that is shown in this photo. Anybody know what connects here? I'm having a hell of a time explaining it at the parts store. It sits just to the passenger side of the distributor.

heater hose. Throw all that away and just get a hose barb and put it in there.
