My truck is a pretty bare bones one, custom deluxe. Radio delete, no ac, manual trans and part time transfer case. Has gauges but no clock. Under the gas gauge it has the fasten seat belt and brake warning lights that work. But a couple of days ago, the sun was shining just right and I saw two more lights under the speedometer that day charge and 4 wheel lock. But they have never worked. So should they? Or are they for higher option trucks? My truck has the np 205 case, would there be a way to make that 4 wheel lock light come on in 4wd?

Choke and 4x4? Both should work, yes. The choke before, during, and slightly after startup, and the 4x4 after you move the shifter out of 2H.

Maybe it said choke, I’ll have to check again. I could have sworn it said charge.
