I have water leaking in through my kick panel and was wondering if the water was supposed to be passing through there because I know people replace them with speaker i replaced the stripping on the hood to the cowl and around the hindges

It might be originating from the windshield

On my 84K10 the weather strip on the backside of the kick panel passenger side had deteriorated and was allowing water into the cab through the vent opening. I replaced it with some high quality stripping and sealed it up. Hasn't leaked in two years.

Check your windshield tray below the cowling that’s there, once had a hole in my old unit rust through plugging up full of pine needles, but likely hood is slim I’d lean towards the window seal like previously suggested

my question is that if water is supposed to run in between the kick panel and the outter part where the blower motor is

I know the windshield is all good because I took the windshield out and then repaired all the rust that was hidden behind the rubber then I put all new rubber in their when I had the windshield put back in the cowl is all clean and the trucks been garaged since I repainted it I’m just chasing this leak

Water run inside the cowl area down the drains on both sides behind lower rear section of the fender.

But that correct answer has already been given to you once.

One guy found water leaking through the parking brake bolt holes...the trailer park dude...

There is a TON of good info in this bookmarked thread.
