Looking for a set of late model GM aluminum wheels for the 8-lug trucks. They were used '99-'09-ish. Looking for nice ones without a bunch of corrosion, with or without center caps.

They are these ones:

Shouldn't be too bad? Two wheels fit nicely in 18" square boxes with room for padding. It would take two boxes of course.

Not trying to de rail your thread, but another great (IMo) and cheap option is 3rd Gen Ram alloy wheels. 17x8, so better for bigger tires and the OE GM center caps fit nicely with them.

The problem is I want to use them on my van, which I realized has very little clearance for a wider rim when turning. So I need to stick with a 6.5" or 7" width.

My buddy no loner has the wheels. I don't want to tell you what he sold the set for. Well I kinda do because I want to see a full grown man cry....75.00 for the set of 5 with caps...sorry dude I had no use for them, and my old 16.5, 8 lug American Racing wheels take up enough space in my shop.

Well shoot.
:sad72:

I've passed up several deals on them over the years, just didn't have a use for them until now.

about 35 miles

I'll hold off for now. I did end up getting a cheap set locally, but they need completely reconditioned. If you end up being near them though and it's not much trouble for you, I'll probably spring for them anyway. I know I can still use them, but only if it's super convenient for you.

Scratch that, I'm just gonna have to pass. I just got through sanding and polishing the wheels I recently picked up... I don't want to go through that again anytime soon, lol.
