Hi guys iam fairly new to the c10 game but I got a 1975 step side c10.Iam wanting to lower it I might go with a 5/7 or 5/6 or 6/7 all with flip kits drop spindles lowering springs and rear shackles .But I heard the flip kits bounces and not that good.cause I wanna race auto cross with it.So if you guys could give me maybe some pics of your trucks lowerd and have flip kit let me know how they ride and like them !!. Thanks

They ride great. I can't get pics to load, but mine looks like all the rest with a 4-6 drop. Axle over spring is superior to spring over axle at controlling axle wrap and wheel hop.

Most good coilovers are pricey. Definitely not a cheap conversion.

Here's mine 5 front 7 rear drop, using coils, spindles.....flip kit, hangers and the overload springs removed. Rides great and very responsive (especially since replacing all the rubber with polyurethane.

I have 20x8 up front and 20x10 out back (removed and fabricated custom front inner fenderwells)

I have no idea but I believe if your intent IS a RACE TRACK, a 4 link will serve you well especially with the weight separation of a truck. (front / rear) 67-72? would be likely my first choice because money.

You don't need a C-notch unless you do hangers/shackles or carry heavy loads.
