Have a 1978 K10 stepside. The passenger side vent window got shattered, and replacement glass for a '78 doesn't fit right (see attached pic). The glass is too big for the frame. Is it possible the doors of my truck aren't original, and if so what year glass would fit right? Thanks for your help.

Too big, wrong shape. If you have a glass shop locally, take it there and have them cut a piece to fit and set it in the channel. Or send that glass back and get a different one.

Looks like your doors or vent windows were swapped to the later style. I believe '80/81 - 91 is what you need however I'd double check with a glass supplier as I think there were actually 3 different vent windows from 73-91
