Not sure what this coating is on this inner fender.I first thought it was asphalt when I pulled from a suburban in the salvage yard.However,it’s not asphalt,it’s to uniform.Somd kind of coating.Makes think of that Tru-coat in Fargo (the movie).
Possibly roofing tar?What ever it is it’s still tough.Maybe an idea for the fellas that live with salted roads.There’s no rust whatsoever on this inner fender!
