Not sure realy some say two wide for the rim, just want to be safe and wondered if any one has used this combo and was it ok i want them for front and have 295-50-15 on rear, 15in tyres are hard to find in uk now so was thinking of G Grabbers in that size as 225-60-15 are not av hear.

60s are probably going to wear down the center on that narrow of a wheel. 70s would be better.

7.0" would be ideal for a 235/60, but 6.5" will be ok too. Contact patch should be fine with no abnormal wear.

This is a 285/75r16 on an one 16x6.5
Not sure what stance you’re going for, but I’d think the taller the aspect ratio you are willing to go with, the more forgiving a wider tire can be.

Yes, there's a lot more wiggle room with a taller profile. Also, tire sizing is often stupid with no real rules. For example, the average 235/75/15 will have tread an inch or two narrower than a 235/60/15. It varies widely by brand too, but generally, the lower the aspect ratio is, the wider the tread patch will be for a given size.
How tire sizing works, and what the manufacturers actually do, are two different things.
