Has anyone setup or running twin sticks on thier 205 behind a 4180?
I'm curious about the bracketry and location on the floor. In particular if it will clear a bench seat.

I think the twin stick conversion is available with cables instead of linkages for ease of mounting.

i have a twin stick setup behind my 4l80. i havent mounted the sticks yet but the setup i have uses cables instead of the solid linkage. Did you change your shift shafts for the 205. you have to make the twin stick work.

I ordered that setup because i have the motor droped down and moved back on my truck and didnt think the solid linkage would bolt up. Plus it allows you to mount the shifters any place you like. they had 3-4 different length cables that you can get with the kit also.

My rails have been modified. It's currently on a 4500 but I've changed direction and going to a 4l80. I got it from ORD. I talked to Chris today and he said to send it back and he would exchange it for a 400/4l80 setup. We did not discuss the mounting issue or using cables. Is yours from ORD?

Hey there, may be a lil late but I just saw this thread, I have a video up that may give you a little insight on your question regarding twin sticks with a bench seat. I have a 4l80e behind a 383 and went from a 208 to a 205.

Thanks. I ended up sending my twin sticks back to ORD (still new- never installed) that I had mocked up on my NV4500. Told them I changed direction and needed it to fit the current th400 but would like it to work with a future 4l80 setup. They sent me a floor mount setup that will work with both. I really like it, I can put it about anywhere as long as the shift rods like it.
