Hey guys,
How can I tell what transmission I have in my truck and if its original to the vehicle?

you probably have a 700R4 unless someone changed it

The VIN should be stamped in the case somewhere, maybe along the pan rail or bellhousing. If the stamped vin matched the vin of the truck, it’s the transmission the truck was originally built with. If not, someone changed it.

If stock, it should be a TH350.

It shows his truck year as 86.
