So what I gathered from other info is that they should be 35 lbs of pressure and a dab of blue locktite. I can't get a torque wrench on cuz of the clearance between the flex plate and oil pan, I'm wondering if I take the pan off will I have the room to get the torque wrench on. I'd rather not just tighten it by feel cuz my torque converter has welded in nuts on it. Please let me know what you think about the torque specs and my overall plan. Any info is helpful

I've installed many many many torque converter bolts, never torqued a single one of them and have never had one come loose or strip. I do it by feel with a long ratchet or a couple quick trigger pulls with the 3/8 impact. And loctite of course.

You can pull the pan if you want to, but it seems very unnecessary to me.

Pull the starter off and spin the motor over until a single bolt hole is visible while looking in the are where the started was mounted. You should have a clear shot to the bolt holes there and lots of clearance to get a tool in there.

What bucket said. Just get them bitches tight and call it good. I've never torqued a TC bolt one and I've done 100's of them by now and never had a come back for a TC bolt getting loose.

Where the torque matters so you don't stip the threads but get it tight enough that they won't come loose is things like the front pump and valve body.
