Is anyone running a Aussie Torq Locker in their 14 bolt? I have been doing a lot of reading on this. It seems to be a great way to go, not too expensive under 300. Great warranty. I'm seriously thinking about getting it. Just checking to see if anyone runs one and a honest opinion of them. Everything I have read, the Jeep guys, and Girls just rave over them.

I have not heard of this option yet.
I know we are going to be putting something different in place of the G-80 that is back there sooner or later.

I will have to look into it.

As with all the other options, I have to find an open diff setup to make it work.
Dang it Gov-Bomb, why you gotta be so difficult.

This question has nothing to do with the Torq Locker. I'll put it here since it has to do with my rear end. When I took the pinion out I didn't mark the housing. I'm thinking I know the answer, but I want to be sure. The oil slinger lines up with the big notch in the pinion housing...doesn't it? Also I want to go synthetic gear oil, anyone have any certain brand they suggest, and weight?

Does the manufacturer recommend synthetic oil? Some don't for whatever reason. That being said I like Amsoil severe gear. I've used the 75w-90 but I've read a lot of guys that live in a hot climate run 75w-140.
