Throttle Cable Length

New owner here of an '84 GMC K10. It has an Edelbrock 1411 carb. The PO installed a much too long throttle cable that has a good size loop up against the firewall.
Can anyone advise the correct cable length to get?

I have a big bend in my 82 C10 also from the bracket to the firewall. It works but, a little too stiff from the bend for my taste. Hope to see if someone else knows the correct one to replace it with .

I had the same issue. Mine was too long and didn't want to open my secondary's. I bought a Mr. Gasket universal throttle cable from O'Reilly's for like $30 and you can cut it to fit your application. It works perfect. Straight smooth responsive pull couldn't be happier.

The originals and most replacements come with enough length to make that loop by the firewall.
