I guess they've released the new blazer, seen it at the local dealership as I was driving back from the hardware store.

Looks like, you pick:

1. Jeep Compass
2. Range Rover
3. Dodge Caliber (like Arkansas said)
4. Ford Explorer
5. Jaguar F-Pace
6. All the above (my answer)

That’s why I drive my truck. Nobody mistakes it for a Dodge or Ford.

The unibody platform and front wheel drive bias would concern me more than the number of cylinders under the hood.

Asking for a friend, if I take the rear shaft out of my truck, and run it on the front axle does that make it front wheel drive?

99% of Blazer's ever produced were S10's, IFS fullsizes, or Trailblazers.

You say Blazer to the average person, they'd never conjure up a K5 in their minds eye.

I have no problem with it, I just spent a week driving one, it was a nice car, drove it 85 mph with the AC and satellite radio on for hours.

There never was, and never will be a Wrangler fighting Chevy/GMC SUV, people just need to learn to accept it.

Did just that.

Riding along in Jeep in Viet Nam. Back driveshaft broke. Put in 4WD and kept on going.

Not so much a problem with the car its self, really not even one brand for me. Just so many collaborations, and bland designs. ITS BORING!

It's all about money and what sells, and how to maximize profits.
