I was out in the pouring rain trying to figure out where the cab was leaking water, I think its the windshield. Then I notice water splashing out of the door (no door panel), so I look out side and see this.

The vent window seal is tucked in behind the window opening. I guess I'll be redoing the vent windows sooner then I thought.
I've owned this truck for over 10 years and have never noticed this. WTF :shrug:

That's normal. It goes from inside to outside at the pivot point.

I see. Ya, looks like yours is dry rotted, shrunk and cracked. Time for a fresh set from Precision.

i switch mine for one piece set up vent window to have a more clean and seal outside style rubber! ;)

Dang that's more like it!. So you switched out the window frame and all to use the one piece?

i use 2 complete vent window set up pull out from a '90 crew cab at the junkyard! :)
