I'm working on a pair of high-lift jack stands for when I need a little extra room underneath the truck. I've got 1/4" plates 12"x11", and 2.5" square tube 1/4" thick. I welded the tube to the plate, now I need to make gussets and weld them on. I want to use a piece of 2"x2" tube to slide inside the base with a piece of C channel on top for the cradle. Looking for max height of 25".
